Auburn WR back at practice, return to the field TBD

An arrest late last month on charges of driving on a limited permit and having an open bottle of alcohol in his vehicle netted Auburn wide receiver Quan Bray a suspension for Saturday’s loss to Arkansas.

Bray could be out for a little longer. Maybe.

Bray was back at practice Sunday, though coach Gene Chizik didn’t shed much light as to whether the receiver would be back on the field this Saturday against Ole Miss. Chizik only said “his [Bray’s] status hasn’t changed in terms of playing time.”

According to the original report from the Birmingham News, Bray was pulled over on Sept. 28 by a University of West Georgia police officer because of loud music coming from the receiver’s vehicle. He was then arrested on the aforementioned charges.

Bray has 11 catches for 82 yards on the season, good enough to be third on the team before his suspension.
