Following a deflating loss to Ole Miss, Tim Tebow delivered “The Promise” speech that became the stuff of legend as Florida bounced back to win the 2008 BCS title. Seven years later, Florida State’s looking for a similar trajectory.
With a huge push from Louisville, FSU looked positively hideous as the No. 2 Seminoles were absolutely steamrolled in a 63-20 trouncing at the hands of Louisville. The FSU defense was gashed for 314 yards on the ground and seven rushing touchdowns, with four of those provided by quarterback Lamar Jackson.
