So, uh, yeah. It’s officially a slow news night.
Iowa State linebacker Kevin Hamlin and wide receiver Sedrick Johnson have announced their intentions to transfer from the school, coach Paul Rhoads said today via the Des Moines Register.
“Both Sedrick and Kevin have told me they are going to FCS schools,” Rhoads said. “We appreciate their contributions to the Iowa State football program. We wish them well in the future.”
Johnson, a junior, caught 16 passes for 102 yards this past season. Hamlin was buried on the depth chart and failed to record any stats.
