A Missouri Tigers football player is in a little deeper trouble than originally thought.
Saturday, reports surfaced that Missouri running back Trevon Walters had been arrested Friday on a charge of stealing as well two counts of fraudulent use of a stolen credit device. Scant details were available at the time, although now some have surfaced and points to a serious issue as one of the charges, the stealing, is listed as a felony per the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
All three of the charges, the other two of which are misdemeanors, stem from Walters allegedly stealing a debit card from the residence of a 19-year-old male last month.
From the Post-Dispatch:
As a result of the arrest. Turner has been indefinitely suspended by the Mizzou football program.
