WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. – Steve Stricker and his longtime caddie Jimmy Johnson will enjoy a previously unforeseen reunion on Saturday.
When Stricker decided to commit to The Greenbrier Classic less than two weeks ago, he called Johnson to make sure he could caddie for him. As it turned out, Johnson was already committed to Chris Kirk for the week.
No worries for Stricker, who asked his wife, Nicki, to tote the bag, much as she did during the early part of his career.

But the third round will provide a fun coincidence, as Stricker and Kirk will be paired in the third-to-last group of the day.
“I’m sure it’ll be tough for Jimmy which bag is he going to pick up,” Stricker said. “But it’s all good. We have a good relationship.”
