World No. 1 Ai Miyazato is paired with Michelle Wie and Morgan Prerssel, two players who covet her top ranking.
It is a matchup of power player vs. straight hitters. Wie is longer with her 3-wood than Miyazato and Pressel are with their drivers, but Miyazato and Pressel are so far straighter with their drivers than Wie with a 3-wood.
At the second hole, Wie was longest with a 3-wood but in the right rough. Pressel could not have split the fairway more dead center with Miyazato just a few paces behind her in the short grass.
But through two holes they are all at even par.
It appears to be a good grouping with all three players chatting easily between shots.
