LONDON, England -- The European Tour announced on Monday that The Standard Chartered Indonesia Open will make its debut on the schedule from March 24-27, 2005, marking the first time the tour will visit Indonesia.
‘We look forward eagerly to visiting another new country in Indonesia, and the Standard Chartered Indonesia Open next March will be a wonderful addition to the 2005 European Tour International Schedule,’ said incoming Executive Director Designate of the European Tour George O’Grady.
The event, which will feature a total purse of $1 million, will be contested at Cengkareng Golf Club in Jakarta.
