Having returned to the highest office in the land after a weekend of alignment tips and range balls, President Barack Obama offered some insight on the golf game of his most recent playing partner, Tiger Woods.
‘He plays a different game than I do,’ Obama explained during an interview with ABC7, an affiliate in San Francisco. ‘He’s on another planet.’
This past weekend, the Commander-in-Chief teed it up with Woods, currently ranked No. 2 in the world, for the first time, playing at The Floridian in Palm City, Fla., alongside club owner Jim Crane. Obama noted that though Woods can often make his playing partners nervous, the pair remained loose throughout the round.
‘I don’t think either party was nervous,’ he added. ‘He knew that I wasn’t a big threat to his world ranking, and I knew that I’d better keep my day job.’
