Penn State senior C Michal Menet accepted an invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
Menet (6'4/306), who considered the possibility of turning pro at the end of last season, has started all six of the Nittany Lions’ games at center in 2020. The senior offensive lineman was an honorable mention all-Big Ten selection in 2019, and it’s possible that he receives some kind of recognition in 2020 as well. As for his NFL prospects, Menet projects to be an early-Day 3 selection this spring. Pro Football Network draft analyst Tony Pauline gave him a fourth-round grade in late-November.

Penn State junior C Michal Menet announced Tuesday that he will return to school for his senior season.
Menet (6'4/301) has been a key contributor up front for the Nittany Lions this season, and his return will help the team in its quest to challenge Ohio State at the top of the Big Ten East in 2020. The junior has not missed a game this season, starting all 12 games at center. Menet did not miss a game in 2018, either.

Penn State junior C Michal Menet (undisclosed) has been warming up in full in advance of Saturday’s game against Ohio State.
Menet (6'4/301) is wearing a brace on his leg, but indications have it that he will be able to play against OSU upcoming. FOX 43’s Andrew Kalista was reporting on Friday that the junior would be nixed for the contest. False alarm, it would appear.

FOX 43’s Andrew Kalista reports that Penn State redshirt junior C Michal Menet (undisclosed) will not play in Saturday’s game against Ohio State.
Menet (6'4/301) had been working as Penn State’s starting center, so his reported loss for Saturday is a potentially problematic one for the Nittany Lions as they try their best to keep QB Sean Clifford clean against a ferocious OSU pass rush. Stepping up in the redshirt junior’s place will be Mike Miranda.

Four-star G Michal Menet committed to Penn State in May.
While ESPN 300 ranks Menet at No. 58, Scout.com’s even higher on the 6-foot-5, 280-pound prospect, as they check him at No. 24 overall and No. 2 at his position. “He’s everything you want in an offensive lineman,” notes Scout analyst Brian Dohn. Dohn went on to praise Menet’s athleticism, low pad-level, initial punch, quick feet, etc to the end of time. In short, he sounds like exactly the kind of lineman that Penn State could have used over the last few seasons.

Penn State HC James Franklin said that he’s been “very very impressed” by the work of redshirt sophomore OL Michal Menet this offseason.
Franklin noted that Menet has been “really coachable” and “has made tremendous strides in a short period of time.” The 6-foot-4, 301-pounder was a highly-regarded offensive line prospect in the 2016 class. He redshirted during his initial year in Happy Valley and mostly worked in a special teams capacity for the past campaign. The Nittany Lions may well be ready to take the blocks off, now. While Franklin and staff have tried him out all over the line this spring, the head coach noted that Menet’s quickness affords him a considerable upside at center. If we’re talking purely in terms of what would help him see the field the fastest this year, though, that would be at right guard, where the starting job is up for grabs.
