Mariners acquired RHP Adam Hill and a 2020 Competitive Balance Round B draft pick from the Brewers for C Omar Narvaez.
Hill, 22, posted a 3.92 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 109/55 K/BB ratio in 121 2/3 innings this past season at Low-A Wisconsin. The prize in this deal for Seattle is the draft pick, which will come right after the second round.

Brewers RHP prospect Adam Hill allowed one run over five innings with five strikeouts on Thursday for Low-A Wisconsin.
Hill, 22, scattered three hits, and he walked two in the strong start. It lowers the right-hander’s ERA to 3.78 over 78 2/3 innings with the Timber Rattlers, and his K/BB ratio improves to 66/33. Acquired in the deal that sent Keon Broxton to the Mets, Hill was a fourth-round pick out of South Carolina, and he shows four pitches that all grade at least average. His curveball is his best pitch, but he also throws a cutter/slider that can miss bats, and he gets his fastball into the mid 90 mph range. Hill needs to improve his command -- significantly -- but he could be a strong reliever if it doesn’t get to average. if it can reach that mark, however, he could pitch in a rotation and offer some fantasy relevance in the process.

Brewers acquired RHP Adam Hill, RHP Bobby Wahl, and IF Felix Valerio in exchange for OF Keon Broxton.
The 21-year-old right-hander was the Mets’ fourth-round pick in the 2018 draft. He made it into nine Single-A games after the draft and registered a 2.35 ERA with 26 strikeouts in 15 1/3 innings. He still needs to work his way up the minor league ladder and is at least a couple of years away from a big-league debut.
