Giancarlo Stanton admitted to feeling less than 100 percent after his minor league rehab debut Tuesday with the High-A Jupiter Hammerheads and he was unable to rejoin the Marlins’ active roster this weekend like he had hoped. Now it might be time to rule out a return altogether.

Stanton suffered a broken hamate bone when he was hit in the left hand by a pitch on June 26. There’s really no reason for the 56-80 Marlins to rush him back.
