Padres signed 1B/OF Robert Pérez Jr. to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Pérez, 23, spent most of the 2023 season in Double-A for the Mariners where he batted .242/.321/.416 with 16 home runs over 117 games. He’s played his entire professional career (six seasons) in the Mariners organization and will try to make a positive impression with his new team in the spring.
