It’s been almost two years since John Wall graced the mound at a Washington Nationals game, where he threw out one of the worst first pitches of all time, especially when taking his background as a professional athlete into consideration.
While we all might have hoped for a similar performance when Wall got the opportunity to try again on Thursday, he clearly was more prepared this time around, throwing a soft, overhand lob of a pitch that crossed home plate and landed in the catcher’s mit in a more than respectable manner.
