The Detroit Red Wings will look to extend their winning streak to a season-high four games as they take on the Capitals in Washington on Tuesday night.

Pavel Datsyuk’s return from an ankle injury seems to have sparked the Red Wings. Detroit is 7-2-3 since their 37-year-old star’s been back.

Washington has a couple of talented Russian snipers of their own, as Alex Ovechkin and Evgeny Kuznetsov have done their share of damage in ’15-16.

It’ll also be Mike Green’s first time back in Washington since leaving as a free agent during the off-season.

The two teams faced off twice in November, with each side winning a low-scoring one-goal game.

This is the final regular season meeting between these two teams.
