Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans Prediction: Odds, Best Bets, News, Injuries, and Stats for Week 15

NFL Week 15 preview: Bengals vs. Titans
Chris Simms has a lot of respect for Tennessee's defense, and even though he feels like an upset could be brewing in Nashville, he and Mike Florio are firmly on the Cincinnati Bengals to get out of dodge with a victory.

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans Preview:

In Week 15, the Cincinnati Bengals (5-8) will head to Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans (3-10) in an exciting game filled with many points.

Both teams are underperforming their preseason expectations. The Bengals hoped to be led by Joe Burrow into the playoffs; however, given their horrendous defending, they are three games under .500.

All is not lost for the Bengals. Cincinnati is coming off a tough 27-20 win against the Cowboys in Dallas on Monday night. With a win on Monday, the Bengals now have a 3% chance of making the playoffs. With a win over the Titans, that number moves up to 5%. While there’s a minimal chance they make it, in the Bengals locker room, there has to be a real feeling they can win out and level the rest up to fate.

Tennessee enters Week 15 after a 10-6 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Titans’ offense continues to struggle this season. Last week’s game marked the ninth this season when they failed to score 20 points in a game.

The question beckons: will they be able to score effectively at home against the league’s worst defense?

NBC Sports Bet Best Bets:

NBC Sports analyst Brad Thomas (@MrBradThomas) is leaning toward the Bengals -5 as the best bet…

Thomas: “I know it’s difficult to trust this Bengals defense, especially on the road. However, the way Will Levis turns the ball over could be the great neutralizer. Aggression is key against this Bengals team. Their secondary allows too many explosive passes down the field. If the Titans want to protect the ball a bit more, we will likely see fewer of those chances.
Additionally, Joe Burrow is playing at an MVP level. I’m not quite sure the Titans can keep up offensively. The Cowboys were a good test because the pass rush was able to slow down the Bengals, at least. Yet, Ja’Marr Chase went for 177 yards and two touchdowns. I expect more of the same against the Titans.”
