Katie Ledecky stopped by TODAY to discuss college life ahead of Monday night’s Golden Goggle Awards.
Ledecky, who is nominated in the Athlete, Race and Relay Performance of the Year categories, is coming off a weekend where she broke American records in two races and had a 74-race win streak snapped in another.
Ledecky said she had three weeks between Rio and moving into Stanford for her freshman year in September.
Despite her fame, Ledecky said she has led a “completely regular” college experience thus far, with three roommates and a to-be-determined major.
“I’m going to use my freshman year to explore,” Ledecky said.
