David Moyes needed some time off after his nightmare season managing Manchester United, but the longtime Everton boss says he’s ready to come back to management.
In an interview with The Telegraph that also included praise for Red Devils youngster Adnan Januzaj, Moyes says he’s in “no rush”, but ready nonetheless.

And he declared that he’s ready for a big job, whether in England or abroad.
From The Telegraph:“I’m ready to go,” Moyes said in an exclusive interview with Telegraph Sport. “I’ve no time-scale. I’m enjoying the break but I’m a football man and I want to work. I feel my best years are ahead of me and I do feel I am still a young manager. I’ve lots to learn and lots I want to put into practice.”
“I think I am better-equipped to take over a job like Manchester United now than even when I did take over because I’ve had a chance to see what happens, what goes on,” Moyes explained.
“I felt I was ready when I left Everton but obviously when you get in you see things and you realise that experience and knowledge you can only get from being in the job. But unfortunately I only got nine months.”
Anyone think a big club is going to take a risk on Moyes? It’s hard to imagine a UEFA Champions League club would trust him with the keys, even considering his relative success at Everton.
But if a job like QPR or Newcastle were to open up, could Moyes be intrigued there? Surely his time in England makes him a far more attractive option than other notable names like Tim Sherwood or Rene Meulensteen.
