Miss. St.'s Kelan Chairs arrested for driving on suspended license

The latest incident to trigger a resetting of the “Days Without An Arrest” ticker is about as innocuous a trigger as you can get.

According to InsideMSUSports.com, Mississippi State’s Kelan Chairs was arrested Monday for (gasp!) driving with a suspended license. Chairs was pulled over by campus police after running a red light at around nine in the morning local time.

No reason for why his license was suspended in the first place was given.

Chairs is not on scholarship, having been a walk-on the past three seasons. Including this season, the linebacker has played in a total of nine games. He has not recorded any statistics this season even as he’s played in both games.

His other seven games played came in 2014 as he didn’t join the Bulldogs until late in the 2013 season.
