Highly-touted running back Darrell Scott underwent arthroscopic knee surgery today, the Denver Post is reporting.
The surgery and subsequent rehabilitation will force the Colorado freshman out of action for the next two or three weeks.
“Everything was fine,” running backs coach Darian Hagan said. “Everything went well, just as Dr. (Eric) McCarty thought it would.
“They just went in and cleaned some stuff up.”
Scott, who is third on the team with 95 yards, originally suffered the injury on Sept. 11.
