AVENTURA, Fla. ' Four PGA Tour players will team with their caddies Nov. 3 in the Golf Skills Challenge at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort and Club, with $820,000 in prize money at stake.
The field will include Greg Norman, Peter Jacobsen, Fred Couples and Rocco Mediate, joined by their caddies ' Greg Norman Jr., Mike ‘Fluff’ Cowan, Joe LaCava and Matthew Achatz.
In recent years, the event featured LPGA stars such as Annika Sorenstam and Paula Creamer, and stars from other sports, including John Elway and Roger Clemens.
The competition, sanctioned by the PGA Tour, will be taped for broadcast on NBC on Dec. 27-28. The field will compete in eight events, including long drive, putting and chip shot.
