SUGAR GROVE, Ill. ' For the first time in her Solheim Cup career, Paula Creamer will serve as a spectator when Day 2 gets underway Saturday at Rich Harvest Farms.
U.S. captain Beth Daniel has said that none of her players would compete in all five sessions, and that includes Creamer, who won two points Friday.
With the pair of victories, Creamer moved her all-time Solheim Cup record to 7-1-4.
The U.S. leads after Day 1, 4 - 3 . The home team took a two-point advantage after the morning fourballs, but the Europeans cut their deficit to one by the end of the afternoon foursomes.
Leading LPGA money winner Cristie Kerr and Michelle Wie were among the players to sit during Friday’s p.m. session.

Luna was the only player who did not compete in either of the first two sessions.
