PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – According to sources, a disoriented driver accidentally ran onto the eighth green at TPC Sawgrass late Thursday, but the putting surface had no marks on it as second-round play got underway on Friday.
Some reports said the run-away driver was taken into custody by area law enforcement officers, but Tour officials knew nothing of an arrest.
