Davis Love III will soon be inducted into the World Golf of Fame, but he’s keeping busy in the meantime helping with hurricane relief efforts.
Southern Soul Barbeque, a popular restaurant where Love lives in Saint Simons Island on the southeast coast of Georgia, posted a photo of the two-time U.S. Ryder Cup captain smoking meat for Hurricane Irma first responders.
While much of the focus has been on Irma’s impact to the entire state of Florida, the effects were felt throughout Georgia as well, especially on the coast where they were prone to storm surge.

Love has also been aiding the victims of Hurricane Harvey, sending boxes of old clothes to those who desperately need them.
