Choi won in Malaysia last week for her 5th career LPGA Tour win and earned the 100th LPGA Tour win by a player of Korean descent. A player of Korean descent won on the LPGA Tour for the first time in 1988 and it is amazing that there are now 100 wins. Last week in South Korea, World #1 Yani Tseng edged her out for the win and then she edged Yani out in Malaysia and it has been very exciting to go head to head with the World #1. It is a new event this week in Taiwan and she is getting acclimated to the course which is in wonderful shape. She is used to having to travel long distances around the world to play on the LPGA Tour but she enjoys that aspect of the life of a professional golfer.
