10 players punched their tickets into the Open Championship on Monday thru the final Europe qualifier including Ross Fisher and medalist James Morrison.
- HOF Worthy?
The World Golf Hall of Fame announced its candidates for 2013 induction. The U.S. Players include Davis Love III, Fred Couples and Jim Furyk. Meanwhile, the International Ballot will include Colin Montgomerie, Darren Clarke and Padraig Harrington.
- Irish Eyes
Thousands of Irish Eyes will be smiling this week for the Irish Open’s first event at Royal Portrush since 1953. The European Tour announced Friday tickets are now sold out to go along with sell-outs on Saturday and Sunday. More than 100,000 spectators are expected for the week.
- NB3 Challenge
Tiger Woods and Rickie Fowler are among the star players who have committed to play in the Notah Begay Challenge this August. Money raised in the event will fight obesity and diabetes among Native American children.
