The Raptors will not extend a qualifying offer to Malcolm Miller, which will make him an unrestricted free agent when the market opens on Friday.
Miller hasn’t see much playing time during his three seasons in Toronto, appearing in a total of 53 games and averaging 6.7 minutes per. Due to his ability to hit shots from the perimeter Miller could be worth a training camp look either in Toronto or elsewhere, but he isn’t a factor in any fantasy format.

Malcolm Miller (neck) will be available to play on Wednesday vs. the Pacers.
He’s typically not in the rotation, so this means next to nothing.
  • FA Small Forward #13
Malcolm Miller (neck strain) will not play Sunday against the Bulls.
Miller has been barely used this season, so this doesn’t have any fantasy impact.
  • NBA Shooting Guard #22
Nick Nurse said he’s considering making a change to the starting lineup.
Patrick McCaw would be the most obvious guy to head to the second unit if Nurse does decide to go through with a lineup change, considering he’s done a whole lot of nothing in his four starts this season with averages of just 6.5 points, 2.0 boards and 2.0 steals per game on 41.7% shooting in 28.1 minutes a night. Nurse could shift OG Anunoby back to the three-spot and allow Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to start at the four, or he could give Malcolm Miller some time with the first unit. Either way, McCaw isn’t worth owning in most leagues.

Malcolm Miller failed to score with one rebound and one steal in 14 minutes against the Wizards on Friday.
He was sprinkled in there as the ninth man in the rotation, and should see playing time for the foreseeable future. He’s still only a deep-league guy.

OG Anunoby (eye) scored eight points on 3-of-6 shooting in his return from a one-game absence on Saturday, adding two 3-pointers and five rebounds across 32 minutes.
Anunoby was back in action following a one-game absence, although he was oddly passive with just one shot attempt through the first half of action. He also didn’t get any defensive stats, which is just the first time that’s happened this season. He had a bad game but has been a stud this season, and we’re confident he’ll bounce back on Monday against the Hornets. Malcolm Miller returned to the bench and picked up a DNP-CD with Anunoby back in the rotation.
  • FA Small Forward #13
Malcolm Miller started on Wednesday but had just one assist and one turnover in seven minutes.
OG Anunoby was sidelined tonight with a bruised right eye, and it’s unclear when he might return. The move to start Miller was a failed experiment by coach Nick Nurse, who quickly pivoted to Terence Davis and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
  • FA Small Forward #13
Malcolm Miller will start on Wednesday night against the Blazers.
The Raptors won’t have OG Anunoby tonight, so Miller gets his first start of the year and fifth of his career. He wasn’t in the rotation in the previous two games, so he may not see many minutes besides starting each half. We should see some big-ball lineups with Pascal Siakam at the three to open up more run for Chris Boucher.
  • FA Small Forward #13
Malcolm Miller has earned a spot Raptors final 15-man roster.
Toronto waiving both Isaiah Taylor and Cam Payne means that Miller won the fight for one of the team’s final roster spots. It’s the first time he’s made an NBA team outright to start the season. Miller is not on the fantasy radar.
  • FA Small Forward #13
Malcolm Miller played 29 minutes and hit 7-of-14 shots and two 3-pointers on his way to 19 points, eight rebounds and a steal in Tuesday’s Summer League win.
Miller has a partially guaranteed contract for the upcoming season and he’s officially over his shoulder injury from last summer. He might be worth monitoring in the preseason now that Kawhi Leonard has moved on, but Miller’s still a long shot to have fantasy value this season.
