Orioles minor leaguer Kyle Brnovich underwent successful Tommy John surgery on Wednesday.
The operation was performed by Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas. The 24-year-old hurler was an eighth round pick by the Angels from the 2019 draft who was sent to the Orioles in the deal for Dylan Bundy. He made just two starts at Double-A Norfolk this season, posting a 5.63 ERA and 1.50 WHIP over eight innings. He’ll miss the remainder of the 2022 season and most of the 2023 season while recovering.
