Pitching on his 22nd birthday, Kyle Winters threw seven innings and combined with two relievers on a two-hit shutout for Single-A Jupiter on Wednesday.
Winters is repeating the FSL even though he was 6-4 with a 3.68 ERA in 110 innings there last season. He’s opened this year with a 0.47 ERA in three starts, so it doesn’t look like he’ll stay at Jupiter a whole lot longer.
