B.J. Upton has completed a brief minor-league rehab assignment and is expected to make his season debut tomorrow.

Upton has been sidelined since the middle of spring training when a March 14 collision with teammate Desmond Jennings left him with an injured back.

Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports that Upton played both ends of a doubleheader yesterday at Double-A and will take today off before joining the Rays’ lineup, with Jennings shifting back to left field and Jeff Keppinger likely losing the most playing time in the defensive reshuffling.
