Pitcher Chien-Ming Wang has opted out of his minor league contract with the Reds, John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Wang signed with the Reds back in December and served as organizational pitching depth.

The 34-year-old right-hander made 19 starts at Triple-A Louisville, posting a 3.70 ERA with a 50/45 K/BB ratio in 119 1/3 innings. Wang last pitched in the major leagues on August 24 last season, making the last of six starts for the Blue Jays.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but rumors have Wang signing a minor league deal with the White Sox.
