Jon Heyman reports that five teams “are said to have shown interest, or at least talked to” the Dodgers about Matt Kemp. The identities are unknown.
It may be that the Dodgers have the least interest in him given that they have a glut out outfielders, none of which are really playing in the position to which they’re best-suited at the moment. Still, moving Kemp could be tough. His production, while good at times this season, is nowhere near the level it was back when he earned te contract that is paying him another $107 million through 2019.
