Ken Griffey Jr.'s son commits to play football at Arizona

In addition to being Ken Griffey Jr.'s son Trey Griffey is a high school All-American football player and the wide receiver from Orlando has committed to play for the University of Arizona and their new head coach, Rich Rodriguez.

Jason Kirk of SB Nation reports that Griffey chose Arizona over Arizona State and a handful of other fairly prominent schools.

He’s a 6-foot-1, 190-pound receiver and apparently broke a bunch of state records on the way to being considered a three-star recruit, so Griffey seemingly has a legitimate chance to be a college star and maybe even an NFL prospect.
