Only 25,000 or so people bought tickets to see Roy Halladay throw a perfect game against the Marlins down in Miami on Saturday night. That left thousands of unsold tickets to the game. Which the Marlins are now going to sell on the team website starting tomorrow.
Nice little collectible of a historic event. Also a nice way to lie to your friends a few years from now when you tell them you were at the game.
The real question, though: will the Marlins print up more of these things than the actual remaining seating capacity of that ballpark of theirs? Why not? If you’re gonna aid and abet fraud, may as well go all-in with it!
