Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre found himself fortunate to have a single when he grounded to fellow third-sacker Eugenio Suarez in the bottom of the second inning of Tuesday night’s game. The ball took a high hop, which Suarez adroitly snagged. However, he thought the ball caromed off of his glove, so he instinctively tried to find the ball in the air. By the time he realized what happened, Beltre had safely run through the first base bag.

Beltre promptly scored as Jurickson Profar worked a 3-2 count, then hit a two-run home run off of Anthony DeSclafani.
