Between innings during Tuesday night’s game at Citizens Bank Park, the Phillie Phanatic was part of what turned out to be a twisted bit of theater. Pikachu ran out onto the field only to be chased by the Phanatic, tracking him down with the Pokémon Go app on his mobile device. The Phanatic was distracted, though, and wasn’t looking where he was going, so he bumped into umpire Laz Diaz. It’s not known whether the contact with an umpire resulted in an immediate ejection.
