David Starr was the fastest in the second of three Xfinity Series practices Friday at Daytona International Speedway. He posted a lap of 183.516 mph. Starr was followed by Brandon Jones at 183.109 mph and Joe Nemechek at 183.035 mph.

Speeds were slower than the practice earlier in the day as many teams focused on single-car runs in preparation for Saturday’s qualifying for the Powershares QQQ 300.
