Nets coach Kenny Atkinson said he likes Jacob Wiley’s upside, athleticism and versatility.
“He doesn’t have a ton of experience, but … he’s got a motor obviously,’’ Atkinson said. “He’s a little fast and wild right now, but we see the athletic potential, the length, the speed, how hard he plays.” The 6'7" forward averaged 20.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.8 blocks per game at Eastern Washington and recently signed a two-way contract with the Nets, meaning he will spend most of his time in the G-League next season.
