The Warriors take on the Timberwolves in Oklahoma City on Monday night, but they will be without reigning MVP Kevin Durant. Durant apparently suffered a toe injury on Sunday in a loss to Cleveland.
Kevin Durant is inactive tonight because of a left big toe sprain. Injured yesterday in Cleveland.

Durant went through pregame warm ups anticipating to play tonight but it was more sore than expected. He’s day to day with the injury.

Of note: Durant’s surgery was on his right foot, not the left.

The Thunder should have enough talent to beat the Wolves even without Durant, but they’re three games out of the eighth seed in the Western Conference playoff race, so any little injury to one of their key players hurts.
