Patrick Christopher signed an unguaranteed contract with the Grizzlies, according to Basketball Insiders.
But he won’t make it to training camp.
Marc Stein of ESPN:
Hearing that the Grizzlies won't be bringing Patrick Christopher to training camp now; Dan Nwaelele and Ryan Hollins on camp roster instead

Dan Nwaelele went undrafted out of Air Force in 2007, and he could have gone to training camp with the Spurs – maybe even made the team – his agent said. But he had to fulfill his military service requirement. He was on active duty until 2012, played in the D-League and then finally got to San Antonio’s camp in 2013.
The 6-foot-5 wing is a nice shooter, but at age 31, it might be too late for him to make the NBA.
Though I’m betting on Ryan Hollins claiming Memphis’ final regular-season roster spot, the coolest story would definitely be Nwaelele.
