There are no words for what Stephen Curry just did in Sunday’s Clippers-Warriors game. Curry was surrounded by four Clips defenders near the top of the key, and somehow managed not only to dribble out of the trouble but drain a step-back three like it was nothing.
The amazing thing about Curry is how routine he made this look—it was an impossible shot given the circumstances, but there was never a doubt that it was going in. That’s just the kind of shooter Curry is, and the kind of season he’s having.
