Ahead of Major League Soccer’s 20th season in 2015, there is plenty to be excited about.
But between then and now, there is also plenty to sort out. With the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs in full-flow (check out all of our coverage here) everyone is pretty tied up. But with two new teams joining the league in 2015 and Chivas USA’s players going through the dispersal draft, a date for that date is yet to be set, it will be anything but a dull offseason in MLS.
One of the biggest notes to come from the announcement was that a ‘Half-day Trade Window’ will take place on Dec. 8, just before the Expansion Draft for New York City FC and Orlando City which will be held on Dec. 10. That will allow other teams in MLS to shuffled their pack accordingly before their unprotected players are potentially picked off by NYC FC and Orlando.
Every important date in MLS-land were released on MLSsoccer.com on Wednesday and you can see them all below.
