Usually they spank in belters from outside the box or curl home from tight angles or chip in coolly but this time Lionel Messi stepped up to take a penalty kick and passed it three yards forward... to Suarez who tapped home.
Seriously. They did it. Take a look in the video below.

Now, with many across the globe lauding their genius, this goal has caused quite a stir. The problem people have is that the PK was scored when Barca lead Celta Vigo 3-1 in the second half of their La Liga clash at the Nou Camp. Many deem the actions of Messi and Suarez as “disrespectful” to the opposition.
Do they have a point? Or should Messi and Suarez be applauded for pulling this off?
Because you think scoring a "normal" penalty would be to undeserving for the MSN. #LaLiga #FCBCelta https://t.co/KQNoDppMGV

In the past Thierry Henry and Robert Pires tried it and get it horribly wrong. But others have succeeded and most notably Johan Cruyff -- a Barcelona legend who revealed at the weekend that he is winning his battle against cancer -- and Jesper Olsen pulled it off in 1982 as many Barca fans believe it was a tribute to the Dutch playmaker by Messi and Suarez.
Odd that so many think Messi's penalty to Suarez is disrespectful. Disrespectful to who? It was fun. Football should be fun & entertaining.

Regardless of what the meaning behind this was, aren’t we meant to be entertained by this game? Other players wouldn’t dream of attempting what Messi and Suarez did -- even if Neymar claims the pass was meant for him -- because they couldn’t pull it off. The fact is, Messi and Suarez scored in a slightly less conventional way and when you’re 3-1 up in the second half, that is the time to do it. Barca added two more sublime goals after that PK and they ripped Celta apart. It was exhibition stuff.
They weren’t disrespectful to Celta Vigo, Barca are just better than them and every other team in Europe. Hence the reason whey they are the reigning European champs.
