Quinerly flirted with a double-double on Tuesday in her seventh start of the season. Although her numbers weren’t flashy, she did manage to secure her seventh straight game of at least four assists, while setting a new career-high in rebounds. Quinerly continues to bring value to the team and is being rewarded with more minutes and a secured starting role. She’s only rostered in 10.7 percent of ESPN fantasy leagues, for those fantasy managers looking to add a guard to their roster.

8dJJ Quinerly totaled 17 points (5-of-14 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, five steals, one block and two three-pointers on Wednesday in the Wings’ loss to the Aces.

Quinerly, once again, recorded a strong performance for the Wings despite the loss. In 30 minutes, the rookie guard stuffed the stat sheet by scoring in double figures and securing at least four assists for the sixth straight game, while setting a new career-high in steals. Quinerly’s recent stretch of games has signaled that not only is she a likely starter for the remainder of the season, but it may also indicate that she is a potentially key piece to the organization, alongside fellow rookie Paige Bueckers, going forward. She’ll have a chance to remain productive after the All-Star Break while finishing her rookie season strongly.

Quinerly, once again, was one of Dallas’ most productive scorers on Wednesday. A lack of shooting efficiency prevented a higher scoring total, but she still finished as the team’s third-highest scorer while leading the way in assists. The rookie guard has now scored in double figures in four straight games and earned at least five assists in three straight. The Wings are dealing with injuries to Arike Ogunbowale (thumb) and DiJonai Carrington (rib), but given how Quinerly is playing of late, it would seem difficult to cut a significant amount of her minutes once the team is healthy.

Quinerly was one of three Dallas rookies to score in double figures on Monday. While she wasn’t as efficient a scorer or as impactful a passer as she was in Thursday’s win over Phoenix, the rookie guard was more productive from beyond the arc than she had been all season. Her total made three-pointers in the loss was just one shy of the five total triples she had converted in the lead-up to Monday’s game. If Quinerly can add the three-point shot to her arsenal, she’ll become even more difficult for defenses to maintain as she continues to grow and develop throughout her rookie season.

Carrington has not appeared in a game since June 20, and Monday’s game will be the sixth she’s missed since injuring her ribs. Rookie JJ Quinerly’s playing time has increased recently, and she tallied 17 points and seven assists in her first start on Thursday. With Arike Ogunbowale (thumb) also out, Quinerly is worth rostering for Monday’s game.

With DiJonai Carrington and Arike Ogunbowale out due to injury, Quinerly made the first star of her WNBA career on Thursday. The night went as well as anyone connected with the Wings organization could have hoped, as the rookie guard was efficient as a scorer and distributor while recording a complete stat line. Quinerly posted season-highs in points and assists; the seven assists equaled her total in Dallas’ prior four games. With Dallas off until Monday, fantasy managers can hold off on adding Quinerly until the Wings provide updates on Carrington and Ogunbowale.

21dJJ Quinerly, Paige Bueckers, Aziaha James, Luisa Geiselsöder and Li Yueru will start Thursday’s game against the Mercury.

Due to injuries and the recent trade of NaLyssa Smith to Las Vegas, Bueckers and Li are the only holdovers in Dallas’ starting lineup. Quinerly and James will start for Arike Ogunbowale and the recently released Kaila Charles, while Geiselsöder fills the vacancy left by Smith in her first game since returning from FIBA Women’s EuroBasket. Geiselsöder offers the highest fantasy ceiling of the three replacements because she will likely remain in the starting five once everyone is healthy.

Quinerly made her first career start on Saturday, stepping into the spot vacated by Paige Bueckers (knee). And the former West Virginia guard took advantage of her opportunity, recording new highs in points and rebounds while matching her previous high in assists. Quinerly is rostered in less than one percent of ESPN leagues, so few managers benefited from her career night. Bueckers’ absence also meant rotation minutes for Haley Jones, who contributed eight points, seven rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes off the bench.

While she hasn’t been a threat as a scorer, Quinerly’s defensive ability may net fantasy managers a few steals. Dallas’ other four starters are unchanged from Friday’s loss to the Fever.

One night removed from scoring 27 points in a loss to the Fever, Bueckers will sit out the second game of Dallas’ back-to-back. According to the team, she’s dealing with a right knee injury. With DiJonai Carrington (ribs) unlikely to be available, Dallas will be down multiple rotation guards against the Mystics. Kaila Charles and JJ Quinerly will likely play heavy minutes out of necessity.
