Buckeyes or Bearcats best in Ohio?

Since Ohio State and Cincinnati are currently bunking together in the Nos. 13 and 14 positions of the AP Poll, the rumblings about who is the best team in the state of Ohio are back.

Bearcat sophomore running back Isaiah Pead hasn’t been shy about sharing his opinion on the matter.

If we ever have to strap it on with them, we’re going to win it,” Pead told CNATI.com.

Unless Pead works in a redshirt season at some point, he probably won’t get his chance to back up his words. Since none of the hundreds of bowl games out there feature a pairing of Big East and Big Ten teams and a BCS matchup is highly improbable, the Bearcats will have to wait until Sept. 8, 2012 to go toe-to-toe with the Buckeyes.

That matchup was originally scheduled to take place at Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati, but Ohio State exercised clauses in the contract and broke out its bulging wallet to get the game moved to The Horseshoe. That, of course, only adds to the rivalry and anticipation.

We can’t wait.

If they met this year on a neutral field (or in a parking lot), which T.P. QB would you side with?
