Here’s one for the cyberdorks out there (me, included).Erin Andrews, the popular ESPN sideline reporter that is allegedly not bad looking, has reached an agreement to be featured in the popular videogame series NCAA Football ’10, produced by EA Sports."I’m just thrilled to be a part of it in general... College football, to me, being from the South, it’s the religion, it’s what people do, it’s what they know, Andrews said in a taped interview on EA’s website."I first got signed to EA Sports to tour college basketball, but was kind of dropping some hints to be a part of the college football game... Hearing that I get to do the voice and be a part of all these speical little features from the visual effects as well, it’s pretty exciting."If Andrews’ appeal with men who like college football is the same as her appeal with me who like to play college football video games (I’m guessing that it is), then this is probably a smart move for EA, a company that has seen its stock plummet to around $19 a share after trading as high as $54 in the past year.No word yet on what cyber-Erin Andrews will look like.(God willing, it’s better than cyber-Holly Rowe.)
