The team that Notre Dame trots out onto the field at Ross-Ade Stadium this weekend will be a complete unknown, as will their opponent, Purdue. The Irish will be without star receiver Michael Floyd, with a less than 100 percent Jimmy Clausen, and may or may-not have starting tailback Armando Allen available.
Just as unknown with be the Boilermakers. Will they be playing the team that rolled Toledo and came within a two-point conversion of Oregon in Autzen Stadium? Or will they be facing the team that got embarrassed by middle-of-the-road MAC team Northern Illinois.
