As CFT’s resident big-wig John Taylor reported earlier, Mark Helfrich has left Colorado, and while it hasn’t been announced yet, is most likely heading to Oregon. Colorado head coach Dan Hawkins, has already announced his succession plan, which has him promoting Eric Kiesau to offensive coordinator. Kiesau was just named assistant head coach of the Buffs in March."Eric is a highly regarded coach around the country,” Hawkins said. “He has been pursued by other programs several times while he has been with us. Eric is smart and organized coach who has the respect of our players. We are excited with the growth of the offense, and I am confident he will do an outstanding job leading the Buffs."Previous to his job at CU, Kiesau coached receivers at Cal.
