A neck injury will force Florida State linebacker Maurice Harris to miss the remainder of the 2009 season, the St. Petersburg Times is reporting.
According to the school, Harris suffered a “cervical burner” in last weekend’s game, and an MRI confirmed he would be out for the rest of the year.
FSU’s director of sports medicine told the paper that his condition will be closely monitored and evaluated in the coming months.
The sophomore played in all six games for the Seminoles and was fifth on the team in tackles.
