The Crimson Tide bounced back from their disappointing 43-37 loss to No. 15 Ole Miss in Week 3, laying a 34-0 beating on the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks, but failed to claim the ATS win for a third straight week, coming up short as 37.5-point favorites.
Saturday’s contest could also see the Crimson Tide’s impressive 72-game streak as a betting favorite come to end, barring a dramatic swing in the betting line.
The Bulldogs have won eight straight SU, but have been an inconsistent bet of late, going 3-3 ATS in their past six, according to the OddsShark College Football Database.
Georgia is also 0-2 SU in their last two against the Tide, both on home turf, but are 4-2 ATS in their last six meetings, with the point total playing OVER in their last five.
In other Week 5 college football betting action, No. 15 Oklahoma welcomes No. 23 West Virginia to town as 7-point favorites, while the Rebels, who have rocketed to No. 3 in the rankings, travel to Gainesville to face No. 25 Florida as 6.5-point favorites.
