REMEMBERING PAT TILLMAN

Not wanting to bring down the mood here, and realizing that people read this website for all the latest news and rumors in the world of college football, I wanted to quickly give remembrance to former Arizona State Sun Devil Pat Tillman.Tillman died tragically while serving his country five years ago today.Turning down a multi-million dollar contract extension from the Arizona Cardinals, Tillman decided to enlist in the military, joining the elite Army Rangers after being touched by the tragedy of 9/11.The Pat Tillman Foundation is a great charity, created by his family and friends that carries forth his legacy by inspiring people to make positive changes in themselves and those around them.I wrote much more about Tillman here, but didn’t want Tillman’s life to get forgotten in this crazy week of sports leading up to the NFL draft.RIP, Pat Tillman.
